Buddha joined NHC at the same time as I did. A powerful hitter of the
ball, he made it into the first team at the start of the 92-93 season and
scored on his debut against Ely City in the cup (please correct me if I
wrong). Although Buddha wasn't much of a dribbler, he was excellent in
his supporting role; in holding up the ball and his inch-perfect one time
passes to set up a team mate. His late runs in to the D were quite often
picked out by Adi for Buddha to then have a crack at goal; he scored 14
goals in three seasons. Buddha also featured in the Suffolk under 21 team
on numerous occasions. Buddha remained in the team after the 94-95 season
but later turned to football...
