Favourite pitch played on:
Ely City, the home of Newmarket HC for many a long season.

Most enjoyable team to play against:
Saffron Walden - 2-1 victory in the 2000 county cup was the greatest game of hockey I have ever played in.

Most frustrating team to play against:

Cambridge South.  Following an absolutely appalling defeat during an otherwise unbeaten season, due to severe indiscipline throughout the team, crying sessions were actively introduced at training.

Favourite team-mate:
Well certainly became well acquainted with a few of them during my time, however outright victory must go to the unsung heroine Hazel Rolfe (steady), deserved praise for her continual commitment that has kept the club alive during it's most difficult times. When it was so much needed. When so many of us fell by the wayside. Hazel, we salute you.

About yourself:

What others think of you:
Davey perhaps came into the first team in the 93-94 season, unlike his elder brother Badders, Davey adapted to numerous midfield positions with ease and confidence.  Very strong on the ball, Dave is a commanding player and a spirited asset to NHC. Just like Adi, Davey played for County featuring in the Suffolk under 21 team.
