Favourite team-mate:
That
would be telling :-) Always had a soft spot for Hairy Sarah
About yourself:
For those of you who
don't know me I joined NHC late in 1986 when Chris Ring and John Moss were
joint Captains. Virtually the first thing I did was to attend the World
Cup with NHC in London which was a good intro. I eventually ended up as
Captain and then Chairman and I guess the pinnacle was winning the league
with a special team including Bob, Roger, Simon, John Hall etc even though
we got hammered by Peterborough Athletic in the exhibition game. Another
highlight of my time at NHC was watching Jimmy jump off a balcony in the
hotel at the first Castricum (when we won!) and, remarkably, not killing
himself.
What others think of you:
When I played with Shagger, he was incredibly reliable at the back, he
displayed both fitness and agility not to mention an abundance of skill.
Despite numerous threats to return to the Newmarket ranks, Shagger now
expects to start coaching in Linton on the new Astroturf there. Erm...
balcongee-jumping never really did take off
after that eventful night, did it?! With regards to your nickname, sorry,
but for now, until someone else comes up with a suitable replacement
(perhaps we could do a poll?), 'Shagger' it is!
Anything else?:
Apparently a git from North Walsham gave Terry his nickname - Shagger! I
wonder what the story is behind that one then...
