TOTW – Round 3

Amazingly, all four teams won this weekend for the first time in what seems like ages. Congratulations to all. The TOTW award for Round 3 goes to the men’s 1s as they recorded a 3-0 victory. The men continue their 100% record in Division 5 NW with a 3-0 away win at Cambridge South 3. The team head the table and look in fabulous form under the new leadership of Will Wilson.

The ladies’ 1s picked up their first ever win in the East league with a 3-1 win over Cambridge Nomads 1. Having led early on, the visitors managed to level midway through the 2nd half to set up an exciting climax. Lou Downs put the home side ahead again from the spot and Hayley Stoneman got her 2nd to seal a memorable 3-1 win minutes from the end.

The ladies’ 2s and 3s also picked up valuable points as they won 2-1 at home to Sudbury 4s and 3-2 away at March 1s.

According to the FixturesLive site, the ladies’ 2s win against Carlton Park has been removed. We’ll leave the TOTW award there, but the score has been removed.
