On behalf of the Club Committee, I am pleased to invite you to attend the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Please find attached the agenda. The quorum for the AGM is eleven members. Members who are over 15 have individual single votes at the Annual General Meeting. We have quite a few members who currently hold more than one role, and would be happy to share their work load! If you have thought about taking on a role at the Club, now is an excellent opportunity.
If you would like to discuss any roles and get some more information, please see the attached, and you are welcome to contact current serving members to discuss further any queries about the role or being on the committee: Di, Will, Alex, Mel, Anna, Dave, Adrian.
To officially register your interest, please email Anna Parker on: firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can put yourself forward on the night.
In the event of more than one person putting themselves forward for a role, they will be given the opportunity to address the members on the night and tell them why they would like the role. The members will then vote to determine who will get the role. In addition, if you have any other business that you feel is relevant to the AGM, then please note that this should be submitted to the secretary, at the above address, at least seven days before the meeting. We would like to urge you to make every effort to attend and support your club. This is your opportunity to have your say and get involved in how your Club is run.
